The night before, I had a massive kitchen clear out and took inventory of all the ingredients I have in my pantry. Yes, I actually do this and MAKE TIME to do it. It helps me work with what I have and create recipes as well. Documenting things is probably one of my favourite activities in LIFE and helps me along the journey of how far I have come too.

And this little mistake of a recipe, taught me just that as well. I had a smoothie in mind and it was simple and one of those things you make without too much thinking involved. Little did I know, come the next morning; it would be one of my favourite dessert for breakfast type dishes. I made it using pure organic Cacao Powder, with incredible properties.

I absolutely love using Cacao Powder in my smoothies, hot chocolate, iced coffees and cakes too. But there are so many incredible recipes you can create with Cacao Powder.

And this Mousse will definitely blow your mind and its so good for you too. Would I lie to you babes?

Right this will make two ramekins of Mousse.

Ingredients:

2 Cups Oats

1/2 Cup Cacao Powder

3 Cups Water

1 Cup Mashed up banana

Pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder

1 Teaspoon Nutmeg Powder

Method:

  1. Chuck everything in a blender and whizz up.
  2. Make sure that there aren't any chunks of banana in there, as this will make the mousse gloopy and not set as well.
  3. Refrigerate overnight
  4. Devour in the morning

I reckon this could actually be the simplest recipe I have ever created. I am super proud of this one guys.

Also I really want to thank everyone that is being supportive and finding inspiration through the recipes I create. With everything in my life, since I was a little girl, I have only known sharing and hospitality. I get that truly from my Grand Mother AKA Paati, who is the most welcoming and hospitable woman I have ever known. She always told me, "When people come to see you, they should always leave smiling" And I have carried that with me all my life and so appreciative for those that have always been a constant. To those that are joining me on this journey, come along and anything at all I will be whole heartedly sharing.

Have an incredible day and I will be back with more flava flava.

So much love!!
